Live Your Ultimate Adventure

Hollywood Boulevard

Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway

This is another absolutely adorable ride. Goofy takes you on a train ride that goes horribly awry. Uses the new projection mapping technology and a trackless ride system.

Wonderful World of Animation

Disney says: “Be part of the adventure as you step into an unprecedented collection of new, classic, and rarely-seen animated films.” So…twelve minutes of cartoons.

Disney Movie Magic

Classic Disney movie moments projected onto the Chinese Theater and nearby buildings. Disney loves it some projection mapping.

Echo Lake

Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular

One of the last remaining opening-day attractions, this stunt spectacular is just that: spectacular stunts. But with 100% more fedora.

Star Tours

Virtual ride in a box that is supposed to be like a ship. R2-D2 and C3PO take you on a flight. Makes Leslie ill.

For the First Time in Forever: A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration

This is like karaoke late in the night, when everyone’s drunk, except instead of drunks, it’s kids. Let it go.

Grand Avenue

Muppet*Vision 3D

A sweet, funny, and zany Muppet story, as all Muppet stories are. Leslie did this once when she couldn’t go on a virtual ride with everyone else, and she says it’s adorable.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge

Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance

Arguably the single best attraction in all of theme parkdom.

Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run

A virtual ride where YOU get to pilot the fastest ship in the galaxy! (It did the Kessel Run in less than 12 parsecs!) Again, virtual simulator with movement and jostling.

Toy Story Land

Alien Swirling Saucers

Teacups with aliens. Nausea with little green men.

Slinky Dog Dash

Toy Story Land’s coaster. It’s a Slinky Dog like when you were a kid, but it’s a single steel rail coaster. Pretty easy (as coasters go), but fun.

Toy Story Mania!

Sit in a car and shoot stuff for points in 3-D. Fun!

Animation Courtyard

Walt Disney Presents

A wonderful museum about not just the Disney company, but Walt Disney himself. Take the time to walk through this. There’s a film at the end that’s fine to skip, unless you want to sit for a bit.

Sunset Boulevard

Rock ‘N’ Roller Coaster

The only coaster in Disney that loops over. Fast, in the dark, not for the faint of heart AT ALL. We used to do this every time we went, but lately we’ve been taking a pass. Getting old is for the birds!

The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

One of the best-themed rides in all of Disney. Old hotel, ghosts, and an elevator that drops you four stories in seconds. We LOVE this ride. It’s a little scary but so totally worth it.

Beauty and the Beast: Live on Stage

A Tale as Old as Time. And boy, does this take up a lot of your time – 30 minutes, to be precise. If you want to see one live stage show in Hollywood Studios, Be Our Guest and make it Indiana Jones.

Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy

Lightning McQueen – a talking car – teaches you how to be a champion race car driver. That’s pretty much it, and we’re here to tell you — we aren’t.

Fantasmic!

This is an amazing show. Images are projected on fountains of water. Pyrotechnics light up the night sky. Mickey battles evil (and — spoiler alert — wins). And then everyone in the cast jumps on a showboat for the grand finale. Disney live productions at its finest. A must do.
